Welcome to your Mississauga music school’s first blog!

National Academy of Music Mississauga is excited to enter the blogosphere!

Since 1979, The National Academy of Music has inspired adults and children alike to become accomplished musicians. We have an award-winning, Mississauga music school with passionate instructors. Our areas of speciality are diverse:

  • piano
  • guitar
  • drums
  • violin
  • flute
  • bass
  • and also vocal and singing lessons.

Located in a beautiful 180-year-old heritage buildling in Mississauga, Ontario, we offer our students an exceptional learning environment. Students can follow the Royal Conservatory of Music or can learn purely for fun. We offer multi-lingual lessons for those whose first language is not English.

12 free music lessons to one lucky family

For six weeks, National Academy of Music and the Mississauga News have been holding a colouring  contest for kids.  The winner receives 12 free music lessons. Lessons are most commonly taken once a week, so the total duration is approximately three months.

The Mississauga News has stated that this was by far their biggest turnout for their many long running colouring contest’s.

Six weeks have gone by and a winner was finally determined: 10-year-old Naomi.

When asked how she felt when she found out she won Naomi replied “excited.”

Naomi chose piano lessons from a choice of voice, guitar or drum lessons.

National Academy of Music Owner Dan commented “I think Naomi’s mother was excited too because she said she couldn’t wait for me to call them. They just showed up and I didn’t even get a chance yet to call them to arrange a time to meet with them”

“I assured Naomi’s mom that they will adore our Mississauga piano teacher, who is great with kids.

“I don’t remember the last time I have seen a child so eager to start music lessons.

“Our Mississauga music school particularly loves teaching thrilled students so this is really a win-win for everybody here.”
